Purpose
Efficient transfer of organic solvents between tanks
Problem
In the process of transferring organic solvents, the existing pumps had a problem that when the amount of liquid in the tank became low, the suction power decreased due to air biting, and the liquid remained in the tank.
In order to increase the recovery rate as much as possible, the liquid that accumulated at the bottom of the tank was manually collected, but we wanted to improve this process because it was time-consuming and labor intensive.
Points of improvement
Radial vane pump Model R-type was introduced.
This pump has a high suction force, and even when the amount of liquid in the tank is low and air bites occur, it does not easily lose capacity, allowing the liquid to be drawn down to the bottom of the tank.
This eliminates the necessity of collecting the residual liquid manually, which greatly improves production efficiency.
