Purpose
Transferring plant fiber from pulp raw materials to the next process without causing contamination from pumps
Problem
In designing a line to transfer liquid containing a large amount of plant fiber from pulp raw materials to the next process, the following problems were encountered.
When using a contact-type pump that can transfer liquid stably, there is a risk that contamination from the pump will occur in the raw material, resulting in inconsistent quality of the final product.
The existing non-contact pumps cannot continue to feed liquid in a stable manner because the fibers can become entangled in the pump, making it impossible to continue operation.

Twin screw pump model SQ was introduced.
The non-contacting structure reduces the risk of contamination from the pump, and the ability to transfer without changing the quality of the liquid allows transfer without clogging the pulp.
